a platform for building better neighbourhoods

We at klusknit dotcom set out to provide a platform for neighbourhood residents to foster closer and more pleasant living amongst each other. We believe there is a need to enable residents to connect, communicate and create opportunities for each other to improve the conditions of neighbourhoods, be it social or physical. To meet this objective, the platform will need to be used according to some important and shared expectations. These are:
  1. Mutual Respect- Be a good resident.Connect, interact and treat others with respect. Don’t engage in name-calling, insults or verbal attacks on others. Refrain from posting content that stereotypes people in an insulting, harmful or abusive way.
  2. Non-discrimination- We are all different. But this is never the basis for us to communicate or interact with one another differently in a negative manner. Please be positively consistent in how we treat each other.
  3. Courtesy & Civility- Be courteous at all times. Rudeness can beget rudeness. This can then sour relationships.
  4. Clear and Accurate Communications- Stay on point and focus. Be precise and concise when communicating. Everyone is time sensitive and we need to be aware of this.
  5. No Illegal Activities- This platform will not tolerate and will prohibit any activity that goes against the laws of the country. klusknit is for positive and productive use only.
  6. Keep it Safe for Everybody- No distasteful postings. When uncertain, refrain.
If you see content that violates these Community Guidelines, please report such contents using the report violation feature in the platform. If you do not follow these guidelines and violate them, we reserve all rights, including such action as we deem fit on your account, which could include content removal, suspension warnings, suspension, and/or account termination. We do our best to ensure fair outcomes, but in all cases we reserve the right to suspend accounts, or remove content, without notice, for any reason, but particularly to protect our services, infrastructure, users, and community. Applying these guidelines help you and the rest of your fellow resident users to have an enjoyable experience. Please also look for and follow any additional rules that may apply to specific products or services. You play an important part in keeping klusknit communities vibrant and safe for all users. We appreciate and thank you for helping to ensure that our services remain useful and productive for communities that we foster. While these Guidelines do not create any obligation for us to act in any particular manner, we shall do our reasonable best to enforce these Guidelines consistent with our principles and values.
